Who we are

What we collect

When you register a child through this website we collect the child's full name and date of birth, your name as parent or guardian, your phone number, your email address, and the hall you selected.

We do not ask for a personal identification number. We do not take payment on this website.

Why we collect it

To contact you about the class you registered for, to arrange the time of the first trial class, and to organise your child's place at the school. We use your phone number to call you. We use your email address to send one message confirming we received your registration.

We do not send marketing email and we do not add you to a mailing list.

Information about children

The information about your child is given to us by you, as their parent or guardian. If a child has registered without a parent's involvement, tell us and we will delete the record.

Who sees it, and the sub-processors we use

Staff of the school: the coaches and administrators who organise classes.

Two companies handle the data on our behalf, because it passes through their systems. Cloudflare hosts this website, carries the registration from the form to our records, and sends the confirmation message. Google holds our records, because registrations are stored in Google Sheets.

Neither uses your information for their own purposes. We do not sell personal data and we do not give it to anyone else. Our sub-processors are Cloudflare, Inc. and Google LLC. The data processing agreement with each is their own standard one.

How long we keep it

We keep a registration for as long as your child trains with us, because we need it to run the class. If you ask us to delete it, we delete it.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you or your child, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to official@hsgymnastics.com.

To count visitors we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and does not identify individual people. We also use a first-party, cookieless registration funnel in Cloudflare: it counts only form opens, mobile steps, submission outcomes and error categories, plus language, mobile/desktop category and selected hall. It does not record form text, a name, email address, phone number, IP address, user agent, cookie or persistent identifier; its aggregate records are kept for no more than three months. The Google Ads tag starts in a restricted, cookieless mode and may send limited consent and page signals to Google for aggregate conversion modelling. If you choose optional Google Ads measurement, Google may set advertising measurement cookies so we can see which advert led to a registration, phone tap or Messenger tap. We do not send Google a name, email address or phone number from the form.

If you open the locations map, your browser connects to Google Maps. On the home page, the YouTube video thumbnail is loaded remotely; the video player itself only opens when you choose to play it.

What this website keeps on your device

While you are filling in the registration form the site saves your progress on your own device, so that reloading the page or losing your connection does not erase what you have typed. It is removed as soon as you submit the form. Your privacy choice is also stored on your device for one year, and so is your language: choosing one, or closing the line that offers one, is remembered so the site stops offering. With Essential only, Google Ads remains in a cookieless, denied state. If you accept optional Google Ads measurement, Google may store its own measurement cookies.

Photographs

We publish photographs from competitions and performances on this website. If a photograph shows your child and you would prefer it were not published, contact us and we will remove it.
